The couple provided their own frames and Meg custom cut the chalkboard signs to fit the frames. Alexandra and Gregory were very happy and blown away with the final artwork. Meg took a lot of care in listening to the clients and creating exactly what they wanted for their wedding day. Birthday chalkboard signs are becoming very popular with parents all around the country. We love creating these birthday chalkboard signs because we get to have fun and be creative with the information the parents give us.

The best thing about birthday chalkboard art is it becomes a great, lasting keepsake after the party is over and can be framed and hung in the child’s nursery, bedroom or playroom.

We were contacted by a client in Atlanta to create this birthday chalkboard for her daughter’s first birthday party on a Thursday. We were able to work with her and deliver it to her on Saturday. It was a quick turnaround, but we pulled it off and she was really happy with the final result.

Once our client contacts us, we ask for a list of special milestones for the birthday boy or girl. Then we create a custom theme for the birthday chalkboard which can be anything from cowboys to carousels. (That’s the fun part!) We put it all together with chalk paint so it is permanent and won’t rub off. The results are pictured above.

Our CEO, Desiree, created a corporate chalkboard sign for an investment group client who needed it for an executive sales meeting. The kicker? They called on a Friday and needed to pick it up on Tuesday. Desiree went right to work and met the client halfway between her studio and their offices that day to pick up the chalkboard sign they purchased from Pottery Barn.

On Saturday, Desiree rode her motorcycle to her favorite breakfast place and got to work on the corporate chalkboard sign sketch. She then sent the sketch to the client. It was approved immediately.

Sunday, Desiree got to work on the final corporate chalkboard sign. She used Sharpie oil-based paint pens in black to created the lettering on the chalkboard to make it permanent. The chalkboard sign will last for a long time through both the corporate meeting and once it found it’s final place on the corporate office wall.

Again, pictures were sent to the client and they were extremely happy with the work.

The sign was delivered as promised on Tuesday and the client was pleased with both the customer service and final corporate chalkboard sign. The chalkboard sign was created exactly as promised and was completed a day ahead of schedule.
