A stethoscope engraver (me!) actually helped a nurse out of a jam last week at Saks Fifth Avenue at Phipps Plaza in Atlanta.
A few days before my fragrance engraving event at Saks, I got a call from Ms. Maxwell about how her first stethoscope had been stolen. She was desperately looking for a stethoscope engraver online and found our website.
I told her about my fragrance engraving event at Saks Fifth Avenue the following Friday and promptly forgot about the call.
I was at the fragrance event doing my engraving for a long line of customers. When I looked up at my next customer, instead of handing me a perfume bottle to engrave, she handed me a stethoscope. I laughed out loud when I realized it was Ms. Maxwell standing in front of me ready for this stethoscope engraver to get to work. I engraved the stethoscope with her name and added a little heart for good luck since she worked in the cardiac area of the hospital. She absolutely loved it! She came around the table to give me a big hug. Friends, those are the moments I live for when doing my engraving work! When I see someone’s happy face when I’ve handed them my work on their fragrance bottle, wine bottle, stethoscope or whatever, that’s the GOLD at the end of the engraver’s rainbow.
