We love these new blue and gold custom wedding invitations by our designer Sarah Barrett. She has a degree in graphic design but she’s a calligrapher by heart. Sarah can really make custom wedding invitations and paper pop with shots of unexpected color and fine, elegant calligraphy.
Sarah creates her custom wedding invitations by first talking to the bride about the colors in her wedding via phone. Then she quizzes her about her style. Sarah then has the bride send her pictures of other wedding invitations she likes and goes on to design a mock-up of the design. The mockup is then emailed to the bride. Everything is done virtually. Sarah designs everything from the Save the Date to the envelopes and Menus using the same style of calligraphy the bride liked initially. The whole wedding invitation suite is bespoke and one of a kind. Every piece represents the bride and groom’s taste.
