Leather monogramming makes your leather gift items even more special for the recipient by adding that special touch of personalization people love.
This was a Christmas gift for a lady’s boyfriend this year. She found us engraving over at Dillard’s and asked if we did leather monogramming. I told her we did and she hired us on the spot. She also wanted to add the monogram with gold foil which is one of our specialties. We can use gold, silver, rose gold and other color foils to add a sparkle to the leather monogramming on any smooth leather item.
We took the briefcase to our studio and went to work.
We take a heated woodburning tool and use it to add the monogramming to the leather. We put the foil on top of the item and actually melt the foil right into the leather. It is permanent and will not come off with water or if someone rubs it with their finger. It actually melts right into the leather.
She wanted a specific script which we found and then we transferred it by hand to the leather item using our woodburning tool.
The result was fantastic and she was elated when she saw it. She even gave us a nice review on Facebook!
