A personalized wedding guest book with leather embossed with foil makes a beautiful gift for any couple and can remain a keepsake forever by turning it into a journal of their experiences together.
Kim contacted me about a month ago to add a custom foil design on a leather journal she purchased online. At first, she looked on Google and couldn’t find anyone in Atlanta who could help. We were the only company offering this service on a journal she had already purchased.
Her and Nordia sought me out at the Whole Foods in Buckhead where I was engraving wine bottles on Valentine’s Day. They handed me the journal and asked me our calligraphers to design a logo for them which I would then foil onto the journal with silver foil. I was happy to do it for them.
My calligrapher, Jessica, and I started to work immediately on this personalized wedding guest book project. Jessica designed the modern calligraphy which you can see below.
I then took it and burned it into the leather with silver foil. You can see that process in the video below:
The result was a very happy couple and a very beautiful personalized wedding guest book!
